Since my Commodore 64 is no longer in tip-top condition, I guess I'll give the old game another go here. My stepson is an avid gamer (competition winner, etc) and pointed me to this page. Each brick could contain any 3 colors from an 8 color palette. The entire screen was built from 8 x 8 pixel "bricks" that I created. The twin brothers who coded the game built for me a rudimentary design interface that would make us all laugh now - but at the time it was cutting edge. A quick note from the guy who actually designed all of these graphics way back then.
